Verified providers
- Every provider completes government ID verification via Stripe Identity before going live.
- BetweenBells manually reviews and approves each application.
- Providers who don't meet the standard are not listed. No exceptions.

Secure payments
- Your card is authorised when you confirm a booking, but not charged until the job is marked complete.
- If something goes wrong, you have 24 hours to contact us before funds are released.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, the same infrastructure used by millions of businesses worldwide.
- BetweenBells never stores your card details.
What if something goes wrong?
- Contact us at hello@betweenbells.co.nz within 24 hours of the job being marked complete.
- BetweenBells will contact both parties and work through the situation.
- Possible outcomes: full refund, partial refund, or release of funds to the provider.
- The platform fee (10%) is non-refundable except at our discretion.
- Our decision is final.

How are providers verified?
Every provider completes government ID verification and is manually reviewed and approved before going live.
What if I'm not happy with the job?
Contact us at hello@betweenbells.co.nz within 24 hours of the job being marked complete. We will review the situation and determine the appropriate outcome.
Is my payment safe?
Yes. Your card is authorised but not charged until the job is complete. Payments are processed by Stripe and your card details are never stored on our platform.
What is the platform fee?
Customers pay a 10% fee on top of the quoted job price. Providers always receive exactly what they quoted. The fee is non-refundable except at our discretion.
